Automatic forwarding

Forward your bookings automatically from iCloud Mail

Set up a few rules in iCloud Mail: every booking confirmation you receive goes to FlightLog on its own, and your flights wait in your logbook, ready to add.

1

Copy your FlightLog address

In FlightLog, tap the scan button, then Email, and copy your personal address.

2

Open the rules in iCloud Mail

On a computer, go to icloud.com/mail, click the gear icon at the top of the mailbox list, choose Settings, then Rules, and click the add button.

3

Create a rule for the first word

Name the rule FlightLog. Under Message, pick the subject in the menu and type the first word below. Under Action, choose Forward to and paste your FlightLog address. Click Add.

4

Repeat for each word

Each rule has a single text field: create the same rule for each word in the list. A new rule can take up to 15 minutes to start working.

One rule per word

  • For bookings already in your inbox, forward them by hand once.
  • If an email contains no flight, nothing is added to your logbook.
  • To stop, delete the rules in iCloud Mail settings.

Your privacy

We read the email only to find your flights, then delete it. Your name and booking reference are never kept.
