1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the FlightLog application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App. These terms apply to all users of the App, whether free or Premium subscribers.
2. Apple Standard EULA
FlightLog is licensed to you under the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) for apps distributed through the Apple App Store, and under the equivalent Google Play terms for the Android version. This standard agreement governs your use of the App and takes precedence where applicable.
3. Description of Service
FlightLog is a personal flight tracking application that allows you to log flights, scan boarding passes, view statistics, track aircraft in real-time, and share your travel data. The App is provided "as is" and we make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any data provided, including but not limited to flight tracking data, aircraft specifications, and airport information.
4. User Accounts
You may use FlightLog without creating an account. If you choose to create an account (via email, Apple, or Google sign-in), you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to update it if it changes. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
5. Premium Subscription
FlightLog offers optional Premium subscriptions and a Lifetime purchase:
- •Monthly Plan: €2.99 per month, billed monthly.
- •Annual Plan: €14.99 per year, billed annually. Includes a 3-day free trial.
- •Lifetime Plan: €39.99 one-time purchase for permanent Premium access.
6. Auto-Renewal & Cancellation
Monthly and annual subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period. The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase and does not renew.
7. Free Trial
The annual plan includes a 3-day free trial. During the trial, you have full access to all Premium features. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid annual subscription. You will only be charged after the free trial period expires.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree to use FlightLog only for its intended purpose of personal flight tracking. You may not:
- •Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
- •Use the App for commercial aviation tracking or operations without our written permission.
- •Attempt to access other users' data or interfere with the App's infrastructure.
- •Use automated systems or scripts to access the App's services.
9. Intellectual Property
FlightLog, including its design, code, features, and content, is the intellectual property of FlightLog and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any data you enter into the App (your flights, notes, photos). We claim no ownership over your personal data.
10. Third-Party Data
FlightLog uses data from third-party sources including the OpenSky Network, hexdb.io, and other aviation databases. This data is provided for informational purposes only and may not always be accurate or up to date. We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party data. Do not rely on FlightLog for operational aviation decisions.
11. Limitation of Liability
FlightLog is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated through the App.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of France, unless otherwise required by consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
14. Privacy
Your use of FlightLog is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. Please review it carefully.
