FlightLog ("we", "our", or "the app") is a mobile application designed to help you track and manage your personal flight history. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your data. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
2. Data Collection
If you choose to create an account, we store your email address and display name for authentication purposes. Flight numbers, airports, dates, aircraft information, and related notes you enter into the app.
Barcode decoding is local. When online reading is used, the ticket image or text is sent to OpenAI. Supabase hosts accounts and synced data. RevenueCat processes purchases and technical identifiers. Sentry receives technical diagnostics. PostHog receives pseudonymous usage events. Analytics is enabled by default and can be disabled in settings. Aviation services receive search criteria. These features require Internet.
4. Optional Cloud Sync
If you create an account, you can opt to sync your flight data to the cloud. This allows you to access your data across devices and ensures a backup in case you lose your phone. Cloud data is stored securely using Supabase with row-level security, ensuring only you can access your own data. You can disable cloud sync at any time.

- Right to rectification: You can edit any of your flight data at any time.
- Right to erasure: You can delete individual flights or all your data from the app settings. Deleted data is permanently removed.

8. Data Deletion
You can delete all your data at any time from the app's Privacy & Data settings page. This permanently removes all your flights, statistics, and account information from both your device and our servers. You can also delete your account entirely, which removes all associated data. This action is irreversible.
9. Children's Privacy
FlightLog is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
