Notes
Export your data
Flighty exports a CSV file.
1
Open Flighty and tap Profile
Your profile tab is the rightmost one in the app.
2
Tap Settings, then Account Data
Account Data sits in the Manage section.
3
Tap Export Your Flights
Flighty asks for an email address and sends you the export file.
4
Save the file to your phone
Open the email on your phone and save the attachment to Files, so you can pick it in FlightLog.
- Distances and carbon estimates are recomputed by FlightLog, so you do not need them in the file. Durations are recalculated too whenever the flight number is known.
- Cancelled flights keep their status when you import them.
Import into FlightLog
1Open FlightLog and go to Settings, then Data.
2Tap Import flights, then pick your file.
3Review the detected flights and confirm. Duplicates are flagged, nothing is imported twice.
Your file stays on your device
FlightLog reads the file locally on your phone. The file itself is never uploaded anywhere.
Questions
No. FlightLog compares each row with your journal and flags anything already there, unchecked by default.
