Export your data

FlightLog exports a CSV file.

1

On your other device or account, open FlightLog Settings, then Data

The export option lives in that tab.

2

Tap Export my flights and choose CSV

FlightLog hands you the .csv file through the system share sheet: send it to yourself however you like.

3

Send the file to your phone and pick it in FlightLog

AirDrop, email or a cloud drive all work, then choose the file in the FlightLog import screen.

  • Older FlightLog exports import fine too. The JSON backup remains the way to move absolutely everything.

Import into FlightLog

1Open FlightLog and go to Settings, then Data.
2Tap Import flights, then pick your file.
3Review the detected flights and confirm. Duplicates are flagged, nothing is imported twice.

Your file stays on your device

FlightLog reads the file locally on your phone. The file itself is never uploaded anywhere.

Questions

No. FlightLog compares each row with your journal and flags anything already there, unchecked by default.
